WELDING & CUTTING DIVISION

While the company’s core expertise lies in fasteners, the B.E.D. Group, over time, steadily grew its wider-ranging, complementary product and service offerings as a logical progression to meet the needs of the fastening processes. The range therefore grew to include product offerings and services in the welding arena.

The B.E.D. Group imports and distributes premium quality brands from an impressive list of international and local suppliers, including Fronius, Messer, Reeflex, GYS and Hypertherm.

The welding repairs centre is situated at the Gauteng premises of the B.E.D. Group in Wadeville. It is headed by Cutting, Welding and Brazing Product Specialist and Workshop Manager Craig Bister, and managed by a passionate team of welding experts with over a century’s combined welding and cutting experience. As a one-stop shop, the welding division successfully provides a comprehensive portfolio of locally-produced and imported products, as well as any services a customer may require.

In line with the demand for our welding product range in the Western Cape, the Cape Town branch now offers customers a comprehensive welding repairs centre, as a ‘mirror image’ of its counterpart in Wadeville, Gauteng, which is served by an experienced cutting and welding team, headed up Ewan Jubileus.
