The Bolt and Engineering Distributors Group’s (B.E.D.’s) Wadeville branch, established in 1983, is centrally positioned within the economic heartland of the province. 

The branch, which also serves as the Group head office, has a footprint of some 3 800 m² and services the rail, steel, automotive, food and beverage, mining and many other sectors.

The branch is headed up by Mitesh Gulab, the Operations Manager. He is ably assisted by Sales Manager Earle Holmes.

Thanks to its efficient value chain, the Wadeville branch can easily match the rapid pace at which customers and suppliers across multiple industries require support. 

Through the national distribution centre, the Wadeville branch executes daily deliveries by a centralised internal logistics team, with products which are meticulously sourced – and thereafter inspected and packaged precisely and neatly in market-related packaging. Quick traceability is provided by clear bar coding and colour-coded product labelling and packaging.

The exports department extends the B.E.D. Group’s distribution footprint across sub-Saharan Africa. The continent has seen enormous growth over the past few years, and as a result been home to some of the fastest growing economies in recent times. 

This has provided significant market development opportunities for various export-oriented sectors of the local economy, and the Bolt and Engineering Distributors (B.E.D.) Group’s Export division was thus established to further widen its scope and maximise opportunities – as well as those of its customers.

Situated on-site at the Wadeville branch, the Export division was established in 2014 and further enhances the B.E.D. Group’s distribution footprint across sub-Saharan Africa. 

It proudly services multiple markets, including customers in Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of Congo, Mauritania, Ghana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Botswana and Zambia. 

 In summary, the Wadeville branch offers many value-adding services and facilities, and ensures that it consistently keeps up to speed with industry changes. The branch also regularly introduces new product innovations from key suppliers, which are implemented across all the branches for the benefit of B.E.D.’s valued customers.
