B.E.D. has a long-standing relationship with Fronius as an official representative of its welding equipment in South Africa.
Fronius provides manual and robotic welding solutions, welding automation systems, and services. Before purchase, customers benefit from customised product demonstrations and trial installations, ensuring that they choose the correct welding solution for their requirements. When a customer decides to purchase a new welding system, we also offer installation and commissioning support.Â
Additional services include workshop assessments, an extended warranty, calibration, preventative maintenance, and technical support and repair.

B.E.D. is proud to offer premium local brand Hypertherm’s Powermax® systems. We are also an authorised Hypertherm repair centre. Powermax® systems provide high-performance cutting solutions using plasma technology. Cutting with a plasma system does not require flammable gases and is fast and versatile.Â

Plasma is created when gas is ionised by electrical energy. In Powermax® systems, its intense heat (up to 22,000° C) is used to melt metal. Compressed air or nitrogen blows the molten metal away, leaving a neat cut edge which is ready to weld.
Powermax® systems are also effective for gouging metal.Â

Bolt and Engineering Distributors (B.E.D.) takes pride in supporting local companies, and we are very pleased to represent South African welding machine producer, Reeflex.
B.E.D is an appointed preferred agent for the Reeflex range of inverter welding machines and wire feeders. The Reeflex range of welding machines is 100 percent locally designed and manufactured at its factory in Strydom Park, Randburg, Gauteng. The machines are manufactured as per the SANS 60974-1 safety standard specified by the South African mining industry.
All Reeflex inverter welding machines and wire feeders come standard with a two-year warrantee, which starts from the date of delivery to the end-user. All warrantee repairs will be returned back to the Reeflex welding factory for repairs.
B.E.D. is authorised to repair Reeflex welding machines that are out of the warrantee period at our welding repairs centre, at our Wadeville branch. These will be returned to the customer with a three-month warrantee on the repairs.
